It's been a busy day. I'm sitting in my living room chair with the new Star Trek movie on the tele... Almost packed. Just chilling and kicking off this 7th blog of mine. Just a half hour ago, Rosie and I were literally bailing out our garage while a massive cold front blew through our area dumping buckets of rain along it's path that caused our clogged up French drain system to back up and flood into our garage! Not good. We'll be doing towel laundry for the rest of the evening before we catch our ride to Newark at 0430 tomorrow morning.
This is our last big trip of the year and we are 'oh so looking forward' to it! We'll be rendezvousing with Conor in San Francisco for his birthday weekend enjoying America's Cup sailing on the Bay before continuing our adventure up the Pacific Coast highway north via Calistoga and Chateau Montelena in Napa Valley. Rosie and I are quite excited about visiting 2 coastal states we've never visited before: Oregon and Washington. Lots to see, visit and tour along the way before we end up in Seattle to make our return to New Jerey on Sunday, 9/22.
Our trip in a nutshell! Signing off 'til later.
